Texas State Dismisses Student Following Alleged Mockery of Conservative Activist Assassination
The public university has ended the academic status of an attendee who allegedly imitated the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk amid a campus memorial recently.

A social media video shows the student in the assembly gesturing toward his neck multiple times, calling himself “Charlie Kirk”, and simulating the events of Kirk’s fatal shooting.
“Charlie Kirk got hit in the neck, b---h,” the person says during the clip.
Later in the recording, the individual is shown stepping up on a sculpture and pretending to collapse implying he was struck.
Administrative Reaction
Texas Governor, a elected official, shared the video and demanded the enrollee’s dismissal.
“This conduct is not accepted at our schools,” he declared. “Dismiss this student at once. Disrespecting tragedy must have consequences.”
Campus leader Kelly Damphousse issued a announcement describing the footage as “disturbing” and verifying it was filmed on campus.
“Behavior that disrespects or promotes violence is inexcusable and opposes the standards of this institution,” Damphousse emphasized. “Expressions that glorify violence are not welcome on our campuses.”
Shortly after, officials stated that the person had been identified and was dismissed.
