The head of state traveled to speak to national troops in the Donetsk region on the weekday. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the command post of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya zone, an urban center approximately 12 miles from the city.

Intense Situation in the Area

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that invading troops had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it remained beyond firm control by any party.
